The UNLV American Marketing Association's Board is comprised of disciplined students who have gone above and beyond what is asked of them. The AMA Board is diverse group of students, each sharing their own unique qualities and insights. They possess leadership and management qualities that have allowed for this collegiate chapter to excel.
Demetrios is a senior marketing student at UNLV. He serves as a Co-President of the UNLV AMA. This is his fourth year as a member of the AMA. As president he provides leadership, helps with communications, and oversees chapter operations. He is also a Lee Business School Ambassador. His involvement on campus gives him the opportunity to represent the business school and the AMA at multiple events throughout the school year. This is his last year at UNLV and he plans to make it his best!
Lorenzo Scardicchio - VP of marketing & Consulting
Lorenzo is our Vice President of membership. He encourages prospective students to join our organization by engaging students on classroom visits, creating visual boards on membership expectations and perks, and operating our involvement booth during campus events. Lorenzo is also a Lee Business School Student Ambassador, where she works with a small, elite group of students that represent the business college at UNLV. Lorenzo is a very social and extroverted scholar on campus, which makes him a perfect fit for his position on our executive board.
ryan - VP of Programs
Ryan is a senior at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, pursuing a career in marketing. He has been a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) for two years, serving as vice president of programs this academic term. As Vice President of Programs, his duties revolve around creating programs that develop the skills of chapter members and expands their understanding of marketing careers. At the university, he is involved as a Lee Business School Ambassador, representing the school at professional and community events. In the community, he volunteers as a member of the Las Vegas Chapter of the Association of Professionals and Students (APS), bringing educational and life resources to low income communities.
Kaylin - VP of Community Impact
Kaylin is the Vice President of Community Impact for UNLV American Marketing Association. Her role is to provide volunteer opportunities for the UNLV AMA members that have a significant impact on the community and people's lives. These opportunities demonstrate UNLV AMA’s commitment to the greater good of the community in which it operates. In addition to being involved in AMA, Kaylin is the President of the Lee Business School Ambassador organization. Her favorite piece of advice is to get comfortable being uncomfortable, for "growth and comfort do not exist" (Ginni Rometty).
Sara - VP of Communications
Sara is a senior pursuing Bachelor's degrees in both Marketing and Communications. As VP of Consulting, her role is focused on helping UNLV's AMA chapter partner with local organizations with the goal of providing unpaid marketing assistance and insight in our community. Beyond AMA, Monica is also heavily involved on campus as a Lee Business School Ambassador and an officer in Sigma Kappa, Panhellenic Council, and the National Communication Association. After graduation, she plans on attending law school in hopes of eventually working in international or corporate law.
layla - VP of Finance
Layla is the VP of Finance who mainly deals with handling the chapter's funds. She is a marketing and finance double major which made her the perfect candidate for this position. She is the one who handles membership applications, budgeting, and also manages the bank account. He is also a founding member of UNLV Fintech and will graduate at the end of 2017.
